Deleting your Bidali mobile app account

If you want to uninstall the Bidali app and delete your account, it's pretty simple. Because Bidali is a non-custodial crypto wallet under the hood, you are more in control of your data and funds. So we enable you to delete your Bidali account right from your device, which also deletes all app data on the device.

Why would I want to do that?

The most common reason you'd want to do this, is because you're about to get a new device. Especially if you are using a device running iOS. The Bidali app stores sensitive information about your account encrypted on your device. We don't have access to this information and neither do other applications.

This information will persist even if you uninstall the app, so it's generally a good idea to remove this data it if you plan to no longer use that device.

So… how do I clear this data?

It's really simple, you have to tap the Settings tab and scroll down until you find the Advanced menu item. Once inside there, you just have to tap the Sign out button and, after you confirm your PIN, the app's data will be erased.

⚠️  It is very important that you remember your PIN! It is required to sign in into your account. Losing your PIN could mean losing access to whatever funds you were holding in your account.

Note:  In order to comply with anti-money laundering and financial crime we are required to retain some information even after an account is deleted. However, if you delete your account  you will be removed from all marketing communications and  no one can access your account and perform any transactions without having access to your email and unique PIN code.
